NUTRITION MONTH'S THEME

BE READY FOR CALAMITIES; ALWAYS BE READY

Nowadays, there’s some natural calamities occurred in our area. At these calamities, the unseen hand wreaks havoc in the part of the world it chooses to act upon. On these natural calamities or activities of nature no scientific or technological developments can wield any control. They can occur as and when and where nature ordains it. Natural calamities can be many different kinds, but the similarity in all is their massive destruction in the area of their occurrence. The natural disasters are of many kinds, they are drought and famine, flood, earthquakes, hailstorms and cyclone.
                Be ready when a natural calamities will occurred to our areas. We must have a kit or a box that contains medicines, food like noodles, sardines and others that are easily cooked, flashlights, water and so on that are important. After a calamity occurred some children are lack of nutrition in their body. This is called as Malnutrition.
Nutrition is the most important to a person because they can live ling if they are eating food that are nutritious. This is called nutrition, is perhaps the most important factor, which affects the health of a person. The body needs a  balanced amount of nutrients and energy for its survival and is essential for good health. A balanced diet is needed and it takes into account 6 different food components which are protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals fibres and water. The needs may depend on our gender, age an life type and also your health conditions. Intakes of energy and nutrients below or in excess of needs for a prolonged and period of time can adversely affect health. Malnutrition is a term which covers problem of both under nutrition and over nutrition.
